They tend to gravitate to battle as the evolving nature of battle has many people looking for advantages. The best of these tend to be bat crazy, or just don't seem to care about much. Some help shinobi and the like either because they feel they owe it to the village, such as the Nara. Others do it because doing so will give them money or access to useful tool for experimentation. A certain line of these genius belong to the Googanheek family. This allows one to make stronger and/or more versatile items based off style points. It also gives access to jutsu that take devices rather than handseals to use. This allows them to create it with more strength and versatility, and with half effort which is actually taking building it rather than questing (half training) Taijutsu; Smithery - This is the study of weapon and armor creation. It also allows for the creation of personal gadgets. Puppetry; Engineering - This allows for the creation of better puppets (of course!) and vehicles, as well as large scale systems, power grids, and siege engines. Ijutsu; Chemistry - The creation of chemical compounds. This includes potions, poisons, and crystals. Any sort of healing potion cannot be made without a least one point in Ijutsu. Ijutsu; Genetics - The study of the body, it allows one to mess with organics. As this isn't using some miracle technique to pull a heal out of the air, these skill cannot be used on the battlefield. This is because it requires large machines, and any actual repair of organic tissue takes a little while. There are a rare few that can be used in battle, but it's more of radical medical work and not at the level of ijutsu. Basic first aid as well as surgery can be done by one with points in this skill, as the knowledge is a given. They also have 10 point of Breakthrough, which are required to have to use their most powerful devices. Rare ones may be spent on a use basis, but must of the time you take the points away when equipping the item. As all Googanheek study biology, they are extremely proficient in modifying and repairing the body. This means even without Ijutsu one can do it, though they are limit to what tools can allow them to do. Despite being scientists, all Googanheek are physically fit. This is either due to physical activity, experimentation, or perhaps even some supernatural force. Either way, they all have a bit of a violent streak in them. It's extremity varies from person to person, ranging from liking to spar to being a sadistic murder. Either way, it's usually not noticeable until they are actually in a physical confrontation. Their physical prowess is 20% better in the fields of strength, speed, stamina and endurance. Having interests in such strange things limits their training as a shinobi though. They cannot use any techniques, besides the basics, of fighting styles they have no points in besides Taijutsu. Special Ability Name: High Psionics Requirements: At creation or 5 Points Training Description: Many sentient creatures have the potential to develop abilities that are purely a source of strange mental activity. Most of these only develop a few abilities of Psionics, but some blessed have reached a level of evolution or some sort of personal power that allows them to access all of the powers it can give. This directly gives one four different abilities initially, which branch into others through the use of jutsu. Telepathy - This is associated with mind to mind contact. At first one with this ability can read the surface thoughts of anyone within 10 feet. Simply put surface thought are want a person is currently thinking at the moment. While this may seem pretty powerful, the user still has to sort this info in his own head, and certain metals block this so certain helmets can circumvent this (not tin foil unfortunately). Clairsentience - Is the ability to perceive things outside of your so called nature senses. This begins by seeming to expanding your current senses, though it is a psionic extension of the body. The natural senses will have their range and sensitivity increased 50%. Psychokinesis - The practice of manipulating things physically with nothing but your mind. This includes energy as well. With this comes Telekinesis, the ability mentally hold and move objects by using nigh invisible energy projected from the mind. The weight of these objects can be is based off mental strength, so its based more of your ability in ninjutsu and/or genjutsu rather than taijutsu. Similarly things that are more a boost to the strength of mental associated things, like chakra control, will boast the capacity of this. You aren't limited to a number of objects, but you can't have more than two groups of objects more than 10 feet apart. This energy is usually invisible, but when used to grasp a person they will see a distortion in the air heading to wards them and trying to envelope them. Psychometabolism - It's the practical application to the thought of mind over matter. It's using the energies of your mind to enhance or fortify your physical body. As the body can only do so much without being healthy, psychics that use this a lot are often fit and healthy... Though the overall lifestyle tends to be a healthy one anyways. Basic application allows you to temporarily surpass your limits to pull of physical feats such as great acrobatics or lifting something beyond your weight capacity physically. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. It should also be noted that it does not grant one the properties of said objects or skills of that person, meaning turning into a weapon will not allow you to cut an opponent and turning into a dog will not give you a great sense of smell. Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Substitution Technique Type: Ninjutsu Rank: E (Basic) Range: 1 Meter Requirements: None Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting hit because you wouldn't have enough time to use it. She is one of the 'blessed' few that have been genetically altered in the wound as an embryo.
